How it works
Three steps. The paperwork starts the moment you call.
Call or text
Reach us at (800) 351-8911. Tell us who was arrested, which jail, the charge and the bail amount if you have it. Not sure where they are? We look people up for free.
Show you have a job
Bring a recent pay stub or your employer's contact information, plus proof of where you live. A job is what qualifies you for monthly payments. Can't get to an office? An agent will come to you.
We do the rest
We post the bond with the jail and stay with you until your loved one is home, and through every court date after that.
What to have ready
You do not need all of this to call. Every item you have makes the release faster.

Talk to Jane
“I do not want you or your loved one to have to learn about the bail system the way I did.”
In 1998 Jane Un was arrested for a crime she did not commit and her bail was set at $2 million. She spent 20 months in state prison before the court of appeal reversed her sentence. In 2004 she started Bail Today, Pay Later® because she believes people should be able to afford bail.
In their words
When my husband was arrested I went into shock. I had never dealt with anything like this before but I knew there was a Bail Bond office not too far from my home. I was feeling numb and needed someone who would be patient with me. I needed someone who would have some compassion for me as I had nobody else to turn to. The agent I talked to could not have cared less about my state-of-mind. The only thing he kept asking me is how much cash I could come up with NOW. He asked me to max out the only credit card and told me to start calling family and friends to come up with more. This was not an option. I was in tears. He told me to leave and come back when I had the money. I went home and found Jane on the Internet. From the moment my phone call was answered I knew I had found someone who really cared about what I as going through. Money was not something Jane wanted to get in the way of getting my husband out of jail immediately. Jane made it so easy for us to get my husband released before the end of the day. God bless you, Jane for making the worst day of my life so much easier to get through.
Jane, just a quick note to thank you for all you did for Enrique. You were the only one who seemed to care about him as a person. You are the only one who wanted to hear his side of the story. That you actually came to Court when he was arraigned gave us so much more strength and comfort to see this thing through.
Nobody wants to be in a situation where a Bail Bond is needed. And I never thought I would ever be put in jail and need one. But it happened. I m so glad I found Jane. She got me out fast and worked it out so that I could afford to make monthly payments.

How fast can someone get out of jail?
Jane's team starts the paperwork while you are still on the phone. Once the bond is posted, release timing is up to the jail, and busy jails take longer. Many families have their loved one home within hours.
Can an agent come to me?
Yes. If you cannot get to one of our offices, a local agent will come to you.
Which jails do you work with?
Jane Un Bail Bonds works with the jails and courts in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego counties, along with the other California areas our offices serve.
What if I cannot pay the whole premium tonight?
Ask about Bail Today, Pay Later®. If you or your loved one has a job, the premium can be paid in monthly amounts on approved credit.
